Erik Plude Illustration

Biography

Erik Plude resides in Milford, CT where he was born and raised with hopes of pursuing a career in art. After high school, he chose to attend the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford in 2003, where he studied under working professional artists Dennis Nolan, Bill Thomson and Doug Andersen. He graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration and a minor in Visual Communication Design.

Since his graduation, Erik has utilized his skills on diverse illustration, graphic design and other fine art projects as well. Erik's work has been recognized in numerous competitions including the Connecticut Art Directors Annual Awards Show and the 106th Annual Yale New Haven Paint & Clay Club competition. Erik enjoys the challenge of exploring diverse media and the pursuit of his own artistic excellence.
